East of US-1 toward the beach
Streets like NE 8th Avenue, NE 10th Avenue and the roads feeding toward the ocean have mid-rise and high-rise condos, many with gated parking, and the shortest trip to the beach. Rents near the beach are often higher.
Three Islands
Three Islands is a master-planned, water-surrounded community on the east side of Hallandale Beach. Housing is mostly mid-rise and high-rise condos and some townhomes, many on the water, and many buildings have controlled entry.
Near Gulfstream Park
The area around Gulfstream Park and Casino puts you walking distance from dining, entertainment, and shopping at The Village at Gulfstream. Traffic and parking can be busier on race and event nights.
West of Dixie Highway
Housing here is mostly low-rise buildings, duplexes and single-family homes, often with lower asking rents and simpler approval. Visit any home at different times of day before committing.
